Visitors and Tours

Our next farm tour:

Public Tour, February 18, 2012 at 9:00am

This Saturday morning tour will give guests the opportunity to visit our model example of a small family farm, integrating crops, barnyard animals and people.  The location is safe, secure and private.  Maps will be provided as you and your children tour the farm where you'll see creative vegetable growing, sprouts, herbs, fruit and flowers along with chickens of all varieties, the turkey, a gang of 10 ducks that patrol, goats, two spoiled Corgis and wildlife.

Our art gallery and mini-market will also be open.

Breathe the fresh air, feel the soft breeze, listen to the sounds of the farm, taste from the garden and smell the good earth.  We hope it will inspire you and create good memories for you and your children.   Refreshments will be served.

This tour starts at 9:00 am and the farm stay is for 1 ½ hours.  We suggest you arrive about 10 minutes early, but please not earlier than 8:45am. No charge for children 5 years and under.

Parking is limited as almost all our land is used for growing.  Families with children and car seats may drive up the driveway and park on the top of the hill.  Unless other arrangements have been made, we ask you to park along Arroyo Sorrento Road & Tierra Del Sur and either take the short walk to the farm or we will shuttle you.

Please find the sign-up and description in the Groups & Tours portion of our Green Store.  Members simply login to their account and add this tour.  Non-members will need to follow steps for signing up.  Payment will be made at check-out.

We thank you all for your interest in our Farm Tours:

Seabreeze Organic Farm Educational Tours:

Seabreeze is a beautiful rare coastal farm situated near North County and San Diego schools. We offer educational farm tours to local schools and private parties.

Come see how food is grown for our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) customers.

Learn about CSA and how it works. Knowing where food comes from is an important part of food security and is our responsibility to share with our children.

Children benefit and are stimulated by outdoor activities, nature and animals. There is so much here to capture attention and the imagination.

We use innovative gardening/growing techniques that can be utilized in your very own school gardens.

Many of our animals are rescued animals and serve an important purpose at the farm.  At the farm we have dozens of chickens, ducks and even a turkey that produce fresh eggs for our customers.

Walk the farm and see vertical growing, permaculture, as well as traditional growing techniques that produce a maximum yield and sustain the farm and it's subscribers.

The strawbale house at Seabreeze is an example of a green, sustainable building. Every possible technique for maximizing production and increasing revenue is used to sustain this unique farm located in your community.

There are endless opportunities to spread knowledge, engage the mind and stimulate enthusiasm to save resources and care for our world.

Guided Farm Tours last a little over an hour and we can handle up to 20 at a time. If your group is larger we suggest splitting into 2 groups so the participants can receive the value of the experience and stay focused on the tour. We are very near Torrey Pines beach so lunch at the beach could be a natural part of the experience.

We are happy to present Seabreeze Organic Farm as a venue for your event!

We offer the location and the food for groups, tours, luncheons or sunset dinners, cooking classes, botanical garden tours, workshops (gardening, baking, composting, vermiculture and more), birthday or tea parties and weddings.  Please contact us if you have a particular event in mind and we’ll be happy to help you plan it.  You will have access to 3000 pristine acres and stunning views.

To schedule a farm tour or other event, please call us at 858-481-0209 or email us using our online contact form for the most timely response.

We look forward to your visit!

*Outside of our tours and other events, we are NOT open to the public. We keep our gate closed due to security and liability reasons and to protect our free range chickens and ducks. We thank you for respecting our privacy.
