Although small in size, we are mighty in production. We believe that if people truly understood and valued where and how their food is grown, we could quickly help reduce waste, environmental damage, strengthen families, and dramatically increase our health throughout the earth.

I saw a man, an old Cilician, who occupied an acre or two of land that no one wanted.
A patch not worth the ploughing, unrewarding for flocks, unfit for vineyards;
He however, by planting here and there among the scrub
Cabbages or white lilies and verbena and flimsy poppies, fancied himself a king
In wealth, and coming home late in the evening
Loaded his board with unbought delicacies.

Economically, the world as we know it now revolves around money. The spending power of such, no matter how small or large, has as much power to produce positive actions, as it does to be detrimental to our planet. Buying locally grown organic foods or ecologically produced organic products benefits us all.
